Association of Canadian Archivists (ACA)
The ACA's focus is to provide leadership for those engaged in the preservation of Canada's documentary heritage. 

Association of Moving Image Archivists (AMIA)
"AMIA is a non-profit professional association established to advance the field of moving image archiving by fostering cooperation among individuals and organizations concerned with the collection, preservation, exhibition and use of moving image materials."

International Council on Archives (ICA)
"ICA is the professional organization for the world archival community, dedicated to the preservation, development and use of the world's archival heritage."

International Federation of Film Archives (FIAF)
FIAF is a collaborative association of the world's leading film archives whose purpose has always been to ensure the proper preservation and showing of motion pictures. 

Midwest Archives Conference (MAC)
MAC is the "nation's largest regional professional association for archivists. institutional members include a variety of corporate, government, church, and university archives, as well as historical societies and other manuscripts repositories and special collections. The MAC region is the twelve heartland states: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Ohio, and Wisconsin." Membership includes other states and nations.

Mid-Atlantic Regional Archives Conference (MARAC)
MARAC is a "volunteer, regional consortium of individuals who live and work in the individual states of New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, and West Virginia, and the District of Columbia."

Society of American Archivists (SAA)
SAA is "North America's oldest and largest national archival professional association serving the educational and informational needs of its members and provides leadership to help ensure the identification, preservation, and use of records of historical value."

Society of Archivists 
The Society "promotes the care and preservation of archives and the better administration of archive repositories, to advance the training of its members, and to encourage relevant research and publication."
